We love…because Christ first loved us.

At St. John’s, we enjoy a long heritage of celebrating God’s gift of salvation. Organized in 1898, our congregation is over 110 years strong! We are proud members of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod.

We live in a grasping world, a world so often marked by the absence of love. Many people endure burdens of loneliness, frustration, emotional and spiritual starvation. Each and every one of us need the “spiritual food” our loving God provides for us through his word and sacrament. We need to hear and share the affection and encouragement of God’s love with one another. After all, “We love because Christ first loved us.” I John 4:19
