The ERGONIAN CIRCLE is a member of the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League (LWML). The mission of the LWML is to assist the women of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod and the Lutheran Church-Canada in affirming her relationship with the Triune God so that she is enabled to use her gifts in ministry to the people of the world.

 

The Lutheran Women’s Missionary League’s program is carried out in four areas:

  • Mission Eduction–encourages and equips women to reach out in love
  • Mission Inspiration–helps women to grow spiritually
  • Mission Service–alerts women to opportunities to help others
  • Mission Grants–provide women a way to share blessings through the gathering of funds

 

Local projects of the Ergonian Circle at St. John’s include the following:

  • Providing school supplies for needy children in the community
  • Collecting and delivering food baskets to the needy in the community
  • Assisting with Altar Duties
  • Honoring confirmads and graduates in the church family
  • Contributing to Lutheran World Relief
  • Supporting SHARE a community based organization for assisting the less fortunate
  • Supporting Habitat for Humanity

 

The ERGONIAN CIRCLE meets in the Educational Building at St. Johns on the first Wednesday night of each month at 7PM.  They do not meet for the months of June, July, and August.
